Nest-less

We handed over our Wichita Falls home and moved out of the Dallas condo, missing a few days' photos here and there. In a few weeks, we'll be settled in our new (to us) home in Farmers Branch. We're looking forward to being together this school year.

A week or so ago, in a state of frustration over not having had any time to myself, I said, "This year is going to be the year of ME."

Megan said, "No, it's going to be the year of WE."

She was right. This coming year, we'll celebrate being in ONE home, in ONE city. We'll celebrate that Nat will have a room instead of a Pack-n-Play. That Megan can get the kitten she's been wanting since we lost CJ. That we won't have to go out of town anywhere. Unless we want to.
